I didn't have a lot of time lately because my little house has been full of friends and kids - that was great! I didn't read any new book, but I missed drawing books, so I quickly sketched these two. They are some of my all times favorites, read many times! The one on the right I've dragged with me everywhere since I was a kid, and the other one is new because I keep giving it and buying it again. I don't have this one any more, either!

I love your pages, the color, composition and of course the typography work so well together, it makes me wish I remembered more of high school French

Visually, the pig guy and the two people make me laugh. I like it! Reminds me of my time in Paris when I was watching cartoons in the hostel cafeteria with a bunch of kids. I had no idea what was going on (but it was still fun to watch).
I am a fan of Kerouac and have nearly all his books. I was trying to guess what the title was with my french knowledge...I thought it was desolation angels (my second fave book behind Dharma Bums), too.
