2 books and 2 boys

This blog is still alive, and I'm still reading and drawing, just, not as much as before, because I seem to have become hyperactive, after years of sleeping in hibernation.
Reads of september (I know, only two books...) On the left a story by Jonathan Kellerman, that I didn't like very much. It took me ages to get to the end.
But I loved the one on the right, by David Baldacci.

It's a thriller, with a lot of action, but also a very interesting psychological angle and great characters you can really care about. I need to read other books by this author!

And two faces, I think I saw on flickr. A long time ago.
I miss blogging, so I'll try to keep up... Days are so short!

It's good to "see" you again. I like the books and the boys, especially the youngster.

I like the expression on the boy's face!

The drawing of the boy is very sweet. The books remember me that it is possible to draw books. I don't know why I think this is not an interesting subject.

Yes, the child is charming! Your book covers are always superb, and the man is quite intriguing. nancy

Great as always. Your book covers art never fails to impress. Really like the faces too!
Thanks for your comment Kazumi, and yeah I don't think the cat is coming back. It's sad but we just have to live with the fact that he's gone. I do miss him dearly.

welcome back : ) I know how it feels, we have so much to do and so little time to do it all... But your drawings look great, love how you pulled out the yellow tones in the background to the yellow text. And I really like the "Ed McBain book" drawing you did. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your kind comment. Keep up the drawings, want to see more : )

Sometimes it's hard to keep up with blogging- it's a balance. And I think you manage it wonderfully.
I so enjoy your book reviews and always smile at your drawing of the book covers. So creative!
The face sketches are fantastic.

Nice sketches. I love the Baldacci books. I've read several and not been disappointed yet. Maybe you got hyperactive trying to wade through the boring book! Anyhow, it's good to see you back. I've been hit or miss on blogging myself lately.

I haven't been posting much either...I'd say hyperactive, but mostly it's just things that needed to be done to the house that has kept me busy. It is good to 'see' you again! You are getting so good at the faces!
