I managed to make a version of the wedding invitation that finally looked like my sister... They liked it, it should be the final version :
I'm doing a lot of portraits and really finding it difficult. I want to work on drawing nature, too, trees, leaves... I'm not patient, so it's going to be a little bit challenging for me...
And because I wanted to do something fun withtout any pressure, I had fun drawing this little character and his baby goat - a cabri, in French!

I love the portrait of your daughter and your sister's invitation turned out wonderfully! I'm so glad you like it!
Sorry, I was sidetracked there, I meant to say I'm glad SHE liked it!!
Great sketches. Your portraits have so much life in them and the little cabri is adorable with a bit of mischievousness. :)
I really love the top one. It's gorgeous.
These are all so wonderful! I am especially taken with the cabri, just delightful!
I'm sure your daughter was really pleased that you did such a wonderful card for her. It's really nice. Great news that you've finished the invitation and they like it (why wouldn't they, anyway?). And the little cabri is just charming! nancy
Great blog! It does take a long time to post....I'm going to try to post more this year! I haven't stopped by for a long time. Very nice work!
Continued success!
Colorful, fun, charming all. Quite a Puck-ish look on the boy!
Well done.
I admire your skill in drawing linear portraits. Your simple lines say so much and show much personality in them. Beautiful, beautiful works of art.
Tres belle idée de donner la rousseur a ta fille. Tes portraits sont tres beaux, avec beaucoup d'expression, surtout dans les yeux et le petit personnage avec son cabri trés mignon, parfaite illustration pour un conte.
